The Great Hot Wheels Distance Rally

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (March 7,8,9), is the great Hot Wheels Rally. Our students will run a track down the science wing hall and measure how far their Hot Wheels car will travel when let go from a ramp.

Students will:

  1.  Measure their car:  Length, width by centimeters (cm) ruler
  2. Weigh their car using grams (gm)    pan balance
  3. Measure distance using meter stick (Meters, Centimeters, M, cm)
  4. Measure distance using yard stick (feet and inches, ft, in)
  5. Graph their team distances on computer and print out results. Using Microsoft Office excel
  6. Write a report on how, what and the result of their rally
Parents your child will need a Hot Wheel car for this experiment. (I have some cars , but not hardly enough for all our students)
