Flu Prevention

Dear Parents:

This year  the news has been full of reports of the Flu epidemic that is affecting most of the United States including our state of Texas.  What I plan to do is be extra vigilant in prevention in our classroom!

     1.  Use hand sanitizer: I plan to sanitize before school starts, at lunch, after P.E, and before computer use.
      2. Use clorox wipes  on desk.

    3.  Talk to kids about covering sneezes and coughs, not touching eyes, nose or mouth without cleaning hands first.
     4.  Not sharing pencils, crayons, toys etc....

Parents please be very vigilant of your child's health.   The flu (as I understand) comes on rapidly. A cold has a gradual onset. In other words your child can be fine one day and very sick the next.

If possible an extra donation of hand sanitizer or a can of sanitary wipes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You Parents for all you do!

Mr. Fierros
