The 2013 Election Project

The 2013 Election Project

The 2013 Election Project is our first big classroom project of the the year.
Every student will run for Classroom President.
On Friday, November 8 will be our primary election and Friday, November 15, the top 4 finalist will have a run-off election.

1. Students will create a poster ( like the one above) and I will post it in our room..(the earlier the better, the location) last day is Friday, November 8

2. Prepare a campaign speech for Wednesday, November 13 and possibly for November 15.

3. During this week students may campaign, by talking, creating buttons, ribbons, (gasp!!campaign promises...)

4. I want to post some of the posters on the blog (permission slip signed for Audio visual use is optional), so please let me know if this is something you do or do not want to do.

5. If your child is a one of the 4 finalist they will have next weekend to prepare for the debate and election on Friday November15....(that should be a lot of fun!!!)

I do have some poster boards.

Thanks Parents for all you do!!!

Mr. Fierros
