STAAR Test

Parents,

STAAR testing begins this week and even though our 2nd graders will not be tested, Mr. Fierros will be used to administer the test to some 4th grade students. I will be out Wednesday for the test.
Homework will be the same this week.  I will have  extra work for our students to do in class Wednesday .
Please have students continue to study spelling words and definitions along with reading their story.
Keep practicing multiplication tables.....Please note that this weeks reading test is a "take home" test.  Your child will have the extra time to reread the selection as many time as they want before they get started with the test.  This test will be due first Monday, April 29. Please remember Battle of Flowers holiday is this Friday and that means no school.

Thank You Parents for all you do

Mr. F

Witte Museum Field Trip-May 10

Witte Museum Field Trip-May 10

May 10 is our first and best field trip of the year. Our class will be going to the Witte  Museum.

The Witte Museum contains many artifacts from the past, including an Egyptian section along with many exhibits of local Texas regions.

The HEB science tree house is part of the museum and is also part of our tour.  This field trip is special however because our class is going to see the dinosaur exhibit.

Students lunches will be provided along with milk.
