Social Projects

Parents and Readers of this blog:

We have two projects coming up!

Project #1  Where do we come from?

Students are to select a country where immigrants have migrated from, to the United States to become citizens.
The students are to
1. Draw their country (print out from computer, trace, our cut out outline from corrugated stock)
2. What continent is their country located on?
3. What kind of environment

  • Population:
  • Capital:
  • GDP: $11,820,000,000 (USD)
  • Total Area:
  • 39,769 (sq miles)
  • 103,000 (sq kilometers)
    • Currency:
    • flag
    • food
    • industry
    • celebrations
    • continent
    • other facts

Parents and students please check the sites below to get an idea of how to set up your project.

  2. cool country report (check this out!!)
Please note that this is not the only kind of report that your student can do:
  1. folder report: instead of a poster put all your pictures and data in an organized folder
  2. power point presentation
  3. samples of food from that country
  4. Diorama
Please note parents that your student will still have to present their project.
