The TPRI test has just concluded and the the initial results have been very positive.
Spelling: Overall the spelling has improved, there is still room for improvement but this year is not over.
I am going to review the most common misspelled words and I am going to create exercises on Spelling City to work on this.
Fluency: Everyone is not at 90 words a minute. Almost every student has shown some improvement, now is not the time to stop reading...Please continue having your child read silently and out loud .
Comprehension: I am now going to start sending home question that you can ask your child after they have finished reading their reading selection. This should start helping with comprehension.
