"Trunk or Treat"

It's that time again! 

 Mission Academy would like to invite you to participate in our annual "Trunk or Treat".  

Trunk or Treat is an activity where parents are invited to park their cars, trunk side out, in a designated area and hand out candies to our students. 

This event will take place following the Mission Academy Character Book Parade.(more on this later)

   

We are asking for candy donations.  

Candies must be individually wrapped.  

Donations may be turned in to your child's teacher or main office.  

All candies need to be inspected before being handed out.

When:  Thursday, October 31, 2013

Where: Mission Academy front parking lot.

Time:   2:00 p.m.  (but get here earlier to set up )

Classroom with the  most candy will win a Pizza Party !!!

Deadline to bring in candy for classroom pizza party is :

Tuesday, October 28, 2013. @ 4:00 p.m.

Oak Science Experiments - Does Air Take Up Space?

Parents, Students and Bloggers,

This week we talked about air.   We concluded that air is a very real thing, in fact it is a gas.
Using our 5 senses we discussed what we know about air.  We can see what air does to objects, we can hear air, (like a fan), we can feel air blowing across our skin. But, we also performed an experiment to see how air takes up space.
