Friday is our field trip to the Witte Museum and rains are forecasted  on that day.   So locate those raincoats and ponchos!


We are asking that all students going on the field trip be here no later than 8:00 a.m. Friday morning.  All students must be in the cafeteria on the stage.  Buses must leave the school no later than 8:30 a.m.   If your child is not here on time, we will have to leave the school without them and they will be placed in another classroom until we return.

• Please remember if you will be providing your child with a lunch, it must be completely disposable and in a paper sack with their name written on it.
• Students cannot bring backpacks to the Witte.  Leave backpacks at home on Friday.
• Students must wear their uniforms on that day.  They may wear their school shirt or uniform shirt with khaki bottoms. No Jeans
• Only students with parents may enter the gift shop to buy merchandise.
• Please go over behavior expectations with your child.

Riders whose bicycle fail to score 100 points on the inspection may be awarded up to 10 points by having a bicycle hel- met. Acceptable helmets should have an ANSI (American National Standard Institute) or Snell Memorial Foundation sticker on them. Example: A contestant has everything required on his or her bicycle except a bell (5 points). If that rider has a helmet, he or she can still score 100 points on the bicycle inspection. THE MAXIMUM SCORE ON THE INSPECTION IS 100 POINTS. THERE IS NO PENALTY FOR NOT HAVING A HELMET. The majority of bicycle accidents involving children do not occur with cars, they are the result of falls. May 10 Field Trip and May 2 Dramatic Weather Change Day

May Reminders

Parents:

May 10 is our field trip to the Witte Museum.  Our school lunch policy is take packed lunches and milk from the cafeteria.   Please do not send drinks or pack a lunch for the trip.  If there is a dietary restriction please see our cafeteria manager.( I will have some sodas for the kids when they return)

Tomorrow May 2, we are going to experience a dramatic weather change. It is expected to be warm in the morning but by the afternoon it is going to get cold.  Please send a jacket, sweater or hoodie in the backpack so your child can put it on tomorrow afternoon when they are going home.
