Parents,

This year's winter will take place on Friday, December 21 at 1:30 p.m.
Our menu will consist of:
Hot dogs, chips and soda.

I am asking for a 2 dollar donation from each of our students so I can buy the chips and sodas.
Also, for something sweet,  please donate cookies, pastry or candy enough for 22 students.
(please NO cupcakes)

Our schedule will be to:
1:30 eat hot dog meal in the cafeteria
1:45 eat snacks
while the kids are eating we will be watching a movie on the stage.

Any volunteers?  Please come by 1:00 p.m. to help with serving and passing out the goodies.

Tuesday, December 18, 2012   

• 8:30 – 10:30 Nutcracker full rehearsal – 2^nd, 3^rd, select 4^th/5^th and actors (No costumes) please report to cafetorium by 8:25.

• Coaches please assist during 2^nd grade PE time (9:45 – 10:30) so that 2^nd grade teachers may have their conference time.

• 1:30 – 3:00 Full dress rehearsal - 2^nd, 3^rd, select 4^th/5^th and actors (full costumes) please report to cafetorium by 1:25

         

Wednesday, December 19, 2012   

• 8:30 – 10:30 Actors/singers - sound check and rehearsal.
• 1:30 – 3:00 Full dress rehearsal - 2^nd, 3^rd, select 4^th/5^th and actors (full costumes) please report to cafetorium by 1:25

Thursday, December 20, 2012 (Show time)  

• 8:30 – 10:30 Nutcracker full dress rehearsal – 2^nd, 3^rd , select 4^th/5^th and actors  please report to cafetorium by 8:25.

• Coaches please assist during 2^nd grade PE time (9:45 – 10:30) so that 2^nd grade teachers may have their conference time.

• 5:45 – Call Time, please report to gym
• 6:30 – Show time. Mission Academy Nutcracker program scheduled start 

time.

Notes :

• For Tuesday and Wednesday rehearsals, 2^nd, 3^rd  and teachers may sit in cafetorium seats to watch the show until it is your turn to perform.

• For Thursday rehearsal and show, 2^nd, 3^rd and teachers will need to wait in the gym until it is your turn to perform.

• Our target is to have all props and accessories ready by Monday December 17^th.

• Stage  and sound should be set by the end of Monday December 17.

NUTCRACKER MUSICAL

NUTCRACKER MUSICAL

Dear Parents,

December 20, 2012 is our big musical spectacular featuring several grades levels. The classes will be performing the Nutcracker!  Our second grade class (Mr. Fierros)  will be the toy soldiers!
The children will be performing two dress rehearsals and then the final big show!


The Toy Soldier costume requires the following:

1. red (longsleeve) turtleneck or mock turtleneck
2. black bottems, slacks or black stretch pants (girls)
3. Foam sword (from dollar store)
